Putin believes that the Russian Armed Forces are on the rise

The Russian army is on the rise, unlike the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), where desertion is rampant. This was announced on December 17 by Russian President Vladimir Putin during an expanded meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

According to him, the number of deserters in Ukraine is in the hundreds of thousands, which indicates the degradation of the Ukrainian army.

"Our armed forces are on the rise. I repeat, there is still much to be done, and it will all be done," he said.

Putin also expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Defense for the work done this year and confidence that all the tasks facing the Russian defense will be successfully solved.
