Tyumen will get rid of 90 minibuses
In Tyumen, the share of small—class buses will be reduced - they will be replaced by larger ones by the end of 2026. This was announced on Wednesday, December 17, according to the press service of the city administration.
The carriers have already signed a corresponding agreement with the Department of Road Infrastructure and Transport. The measures are being introduced in order to provide high-quality transport services to citizens.
The document provides for the gradual replacement of 89 minibuses with 49 large-class and 40 medium-class buses.
According to the <url> news agency, the city authorities plan to completely get rid of minibuses by 2030. For this purpose, roads will be reconstructed — U-turn areas and inter-route parking lots will be changed.
Earlier it was reported that bus fares will rise again in Tyumen. The fare for passengers and one piece of hand luggage will change from January 1, 2026.
