Tricolor and Roscosmos sign strategic partnership agreement

Roscosmos State Corporation and Tricolor, Russia's largest satellite television operator, announce the signing of a memorandum of understanding and cooperation. The signing ceremony took place on December 17 in Moscow. The document cements the long-term partnership of the companies in the field of popularization of space activities, development of space and satellite technologies.

As part of the joint work, Tricolor and Roscosmos intend to focus their efforts in several key areas. The main one will be the popularization of the domestic space industry through the creation of joint content, as well as the organization and holding of cultural and socially significant events. In addition, the parties agreed on a partnership to preserve the heritage sites of Soviet and Russian cosmonautics.

The Memorandum was signed on December 17, 2025 by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of NAO National Satellite Company (Tricolor brand) Andrey Tkachenko and Dmitry Bakanov, CEO of Roscosmos State Corporation.

The agreement reinforces the successful experience of Tricolor and Roscosmos working together over the past year: in April, a branded rocket was launched, which was watched by a record number of viewers — almost 4 million. In August, a music video for the popular song "You are Invincible" by singer BEARWOLF was released, filmed for the first time on the territory of TsAGI. And in November, there was a design competition for the "national" chevron of the space mission, which right now adorns the uniform of astronauts on the ISS.

We undoubtedly see the effectiveness of the joint work of Tricolor and Roscosmos, and by signing the agreement, we are opening the next chapter of the common mission — to make space closer and clearer for residents of all Russia," said Andrey Tkachenko, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Satellite Company.

"Today we are joining forces to solve important common tasks. This includes the popularization of Russian cosmonautics and the preservation of its heritage, the creation of educational content and the development of promising projects," said Dmitry Bakanov, head of Roscosmos.

The strategic partnership between Tricolor and Roscosmos marks a new stage in joint work to strengthen the prestige of Russian cosmonautics and attract broad public attention to the space industry.
