NATO expects to achieve readiness for conflict with the Russian Federation at the turn of the 2030s. The corresponding statement was made by Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov on December 17 at an expanded meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"The accelerated preparation of the united NATO armed forces for the confrontation with Russia began at the turn of the 30s. Such a policy creates real prerequisites for the continuation of military operations in the next year, in 2026," he said.
