The plan to recruit military personnel under the contract has been exceeded. This was announced on December 17 by Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov during his participation in an expanded meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
"This year's recruitment plan has been exceeded. Almost 410,000 citizens voluntarily entered military service under the contract," he said.
