Bus fares will rise in price again in Tyumen. The tariff for the carriage of passengers and one piece of hand luggage will change from January 1, 2026, the press service of the city administration reported on Wednesday, December 17.
The ticket price will rise by two rubles. For example, the price will increase from 35 to 37 rubles for cashless payments, and from 40 to 42 rubles for cash purchases.
According to the <url> news agency, this is the second price increase in three months. Since October 1, the fare has increased to 35 rubles for cashless payments and up to 40 rubles for cash.
The authorities claim that this measure will allow carriers to replace small-class buses with large ones. Also, until the end of the year, a discount of 8 rubles is available on public transport when paying using a QR code.
