The number of entrepreneurs at Avtouproshchenka has tripled

In 2025, the number of small businesses using the automated simplified Taxation System (APOS) has tripled, VTB Bank said. Most of them work in retail or the service sector.

More than 40% of entrepreneurs using AUTOS live in Moscow and the Moscow Region, and about 10% live in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, the bank said. The Republic of Tatarstan, Krasnodar Territory, Crimea and Sevastopol are also among the most active regions.

The expanding geography of the experiment opens up new prospects for the development of small businesses across the country, according to the bank. "Our analysis shows that AUTOSN also brings tangible financial benefits to businesses by reducing the fiscal burden and accounting costs," said Spartak Solonin, head of the Corporate Digital Business Department and Senior Vice President at VTB.

VTB was one of the first to join the project on the introduction of self-driving cars. According to the bank, the direct financial benefit from the transition to "auto-finishing" for the company can be up to 790 thousand rubles per year. This effect is achieved through exemption from insurance premiums, the ability to work without VAT while meeting the income limit of 60 million rubles per year, as well as automation of tax accounting, which allows you to digitize processes or even abandon the maintenance of a full-time accountant. According to VTB calculations, enterprises with an annual turnover of up to 5 million rubles will receive the greatest benefit in 2025.

AUTOSN is a special tax regime in which it is simplified and taxes are calculated automatically. It can be used by legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, the income should not exceed 60 million rubles per year, and the number of employees is five people. The experiment on the introduction of self-heating systems is carried out from July 1, 2022 to December 31, 2027. According to the Federal Tax Service, currently 67 regions of Russia are participating in it, and the number of entrepreneurs in the car market has reached 41.5 thousand.
