A teenager who attacked a school with a knife in the village of Gorki-2, Odintsovo city district, can receive up to 10 years in prison. About this in an interview with NEWS.ru Lawyer and lawyer Vadim Bagaturia reported on December 16.

According to him, if, according to the results of the examination, the young man is declared insane, he will be sent for compulsory medical treatment.

The lawyer also noted that in such cases, penalties are usually imposed in the form of imprisonment for a period of eight to nine years. In this case, the teenager will be sent to an educational colony for minors. After reaching the age of majority, he will spend another year there, and then he will be transferred to a general regime colony.

"The situation is quite common when a teenager does something like this at school. Motivation doesn't matter: puberty, mental disorder, bullying or hatred," commented Bagaturia.

According to the Izvestia source, there were no metal detectors in the educational institution. Later it became known about the arrest of the attacker. The injured were taken to the L.M. Roshal Children's Scientific and Clinical Center.

A criminal case was opened into the incident. During the interrogation, the attacker had previously admitted his guilt in the crime.

Anatoly Vyborny, deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption, told Izvestia that, of course, after the attack at a school in Odintsovo, an assessment of the actions of a security organization employee would be given.
