MO: 94 Ukrainian UAVs destroyed overnight over Russian regions

On the night of December 17, Russian air defense systems destroyed 94 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"94 Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the Telegram channel said.

The largest number of Ukrainian drones has been eliminated in the airspace of the Krasnodar Territory — 31 drones. Another 22 UAVs were shot down over the Rostov region, and 10 over the Voronezh Region.

Eight drones were neutralized over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas. Four Ukrainian UAVs were intercepted over the Volgograd region, and three more over the Bryansk region.

The governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar, announced on the same day that the air defense forces had repelled a UAV attack on Novoshakhtinsk and six districts of the region. According to him, no one was injured as a result of the incident.
