The air defense forces repelled a drone attack on the Rostov region

The air defense forces repelled a night attack by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on Novoshakhtinsk and six districts of the Rostov region. This was announced on December 17 by the governor of the region, Yuri Slyusar.

"At night, the enemy attacked the Rostov region again. UAVs were destroyed and suppressed in Novoshakhtinsk, Sholokhovsky, Tarasovsky, Matveevo-Kurgan, Rodionovo-Nesvetaisky, Konstantinovsky and Tatsinsky districts," he said in a message on his Telegram channel.

According to Slyusar, no one was injured in the incident. In addition, the governor added that in the Konstantinovsky district, the property of a private enterprise was damaged during the attack.

On December 16, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that 20 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles had been intercepted and destroyed over the regions of the Russian Federation. Of these, 10 were destroyed over the territory of the Kaluga Region, eight over the Bryansk region and two over the Moscow region.
