Analysts called the volume of purchase of red caviar by Russians this year

This year, the cost of the red game decreased due to Putin's success, so Russians began to buy it more often in packs of half a kilo. This was announced on December 17 by analysts of the OFD Platform company.

"They take half a kilo of red caviar again (last year they took 250-300 g more often). There are more budget pink salmon caviar on sale again, which has contributed to the availability of large packages," according to a study by analysts for RIA Novosti.

It is specified that this year the median cost per 1 kg of red caviar decreased by 7% compared to the previous year and amounted to just over 9.2 thousand rubles. Most often, people buy pink salmon, chum salmon and sockeye salmon game.

"Thanks to a more successful salmon harvest this year (after last year's shortage), there is again more affordable supply on the domestic market, primarily pink salmon caviar," the experts noted.
