In Siberia, Yars intercontinental missiles were loaded into silos on the eve of the Strategic Missile Forces Day

The loading of intercontinental ballistic missiles of the Yars mobile ground-based missile system into silo launchers was carried out on the eve of the Day of the Strategic Missile Forces of the Russian Federation. This was announced on December 17 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

These large-scale calculations were deployed on combat patrol routes as part of a planned exercise. The equipment left the special facilities and began to march, which, in turn, was carried out, including at night.

During their combat duty at field positions, the rocket men were able to work out several dozen tasks and introductory ones, and the drivers of the units, escort and support vehicles were able to perform intensive maneuver actions on combat patrol routes. During this operation, field positions were changed, followed by the dispersal of missile divisions.

In addition, on the eve of their professional holiday, the military personnel of the PGTRK "Yars" worked out the issues of engineering equipment for field positions, organization of camouflage and combat security.

The ministry clarified that unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Aileron model, which belong to the aircraft type, were used to ensure the combat protection of the PGRK in the missile division's position area and the protection of complexes along the routes. Such exercises, as explained in the Ministry, make it possible to improve the level of training of personnel, the coherence of formations and military units of the Strategic Missile Forces.
