Russian President Vladimir Putin is in contact with ministers, deputy prime ministers and staff of his administration on issues and appeals from Russians for the program "Results of the Year with Vladimir Putin." This was announced on December 16 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
"And on these topics, the president communicates directly with ministers, with deputy prime ministers, with assistants in the administration (of the president. — Ed.), requests information, updates its array of information," he said on the Rossiya 24 TV channel.
Peskov clarified that viewing citizens' appeals gives the president "a unique understanding of the sentiments of citizens."
In addition, the presidential press secretary added that after the broadcast of the program, Putin can talk with the heroes of the special military operation (SVO), who participated in the processing of citizens' appeals.
Peskov said on the same day that journalists from unfriendly countries would be able to ask the Russian president a question on a direct line. In addition, he expressed the opinion that there are few such media representatives left.
Prior to that, on December 14, Izvestia reported that the number of calls to a direct line with Putin had exceeded 1.2 million. It was noted that most of the questions are about social policy, infrastructure and housing. In addition, people are also often asked about neural networks this year.
