Lukashenko called Europe's position on the issue of the Ukrainian settlement stupid
On December 17, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said in an interview with Newsmax TV that European states had taken a stupid position on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict during the conclusion of the Minsk agreements.
"If only the Europeans hadn't taken a stupid position then, and they wanted to do as they said later, so that the Ukrainians would have time to rearm and fight back against Russia. It turns out that we didn't come to negotiate peace. <...> How did it end? Nothing," the Belarusian BelTA news agency quoted him as saying.
