On December 14, the ceremony of awarding the laureates and winners of the national Runet Prize-2025, organized by the Association of Electronic Communications (RAEC), took place at the Pashkov House. The event, which traditionally sums up the year in IT, brought together leading industry experts, representatives of government agencies, large domestic businesses, SMEs, public organizations, journalists and representatives of the cultural community.

This year, the Award received 900 applications from 44 regions of Russia. Such high interest from the IT community, business, government agencies and non-profit organizations demonstrates the importance of the Award as a key platform for identifying and recognizing leaders in the development of the country's digital space. The Expert Council evaluated the contributions of the participants in 22 main nominations. Within the framework of the Runet 2025 Award, new business nominations have appeared that correspond to modern trends and challenges of digital transformation, such as: "Russian Code", "E-commerce", "Creative Industries", "Journalistic project in IT", "Blogger project in IT", "Cloud Solution of the Year", "Digital legacy" and others.

In addition, the application campaign was held in three special nominations: "Internet in the native language" — from the strategic partner of the Coordination Center of domains .RU/.RF, "For contribution to AI education" – from the titular partner of the Yandex Award, "Children in Runet" — from the Alliance for the Protection of Children in the Digital Environment.

"The economy of the Runet, according to preliminary estimates by the RAEC, will amount to 31 to 32 trillion rubles in 2025. An increase of more than 30% compared to 2024, when the economy amounted to 24.5 trillion rubles. Lots of numbers. And what is behind these numbers? There are people and their destinies behind these numbers. And behind every victory, behind every person, there is something more. It's a dream come true. A dream is something that we can turn into a goal ourselves, and to achieve a goal is through a specific algorithm of actions, a kind of code. Therefore, today's Runet Award is about how we dream, win, and achieve certain heights," Dmitry Gulyaev, General Director of the Association of Electronic Communications (RAEC), emphasized in his welcoming speech.

At the ceremony, awards were presented to the winners and laureates by high-ranking representatives of the state, public organizations, as well as cultural figures and bloggers: Alexander Tsypkin, Dmitry Maslennikov, Alexey Stolyarov, Karina Cross, Maria Yankovskaya, Milana Uchaikina and many others.

The ceremony became part of a large-scale event that goes beyond the awarding ceremony. For the first time in the history of the Award, an IT ball with a live orchestra was held, bringing together the leaders of the IT industry within the framework of a high cultural tradition. A charity exhibition of paintings "Gallery of Meanings" based on the Russian Internet Forum was held. The proceeds will be used to develop talented young people studying at the Logos Technical College at St. Paphnutius Borovsky Monastery. Also, as part of the evening, the RAEC Women's Club was officially launched, designed to create a community of women entrepreneurs in IT to implement mentoring programs.

The Runet Award, organized by RAEC, once again confirmed the status of a key platform that not only celebrates the best digital achievements of the year, but also sets the vector for the development of the entire domestic IT industry, combining technology, society and cultural traditions.

The winners of the Runet 2025 Award are published on the website.
