Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin on Tuesday, December 16, announced the completion of the restoration of the Levina Pier in the Kuzminki estate.

According to him, this object is one of the key parts of the manor ensemble, which has been undergoing extensive restoration in recent years.

He recalled that in 2024, comprehensive restoration work began on the estate, where almost all buildings are architectural monuments, NSN notes. Several objects have already been put in order, including a bathroom house, two grottoes, an arched bridge with historical lanterns and griffins, as well as a Blacksmith Shop. Recently, work was completed at the Levina Pier on the shore of the Upper Kuzminsky Pond, the website reports. kp.ru .

Sobyanin noted that the marina was built in 1811 and later rebuilt in the 19th century, but over time it was almost completely lost. During the restoration, the specialists actually recreated it, preserving the elements of the historical masonry as much as possible, restoring the plates, fences and lost details, writes "Moscow 24".

The mayor added that the cast-iron sculptures of Egyptian lions have been restored in workshops and have already been returned to their historical sites. He also said that next year it is planned to complete the restoration of a number of outbuildings and utility buildings, and they intend to complete the complete restoration of the Kuzminki estate in 2027, the Moscow City News agency reports.
