A truck driver killed a woman crossing the road at a controlled pedestrian crossing in the north of Moscow. This was reported in the press service of the Moscow Department of the State Traffic Inspectorate on Tuesday, December 16.
"According to preliminary data, in the area of 14/16, Building 6, on Karelsky Boulevard, the driver of a Hyundai truck ran over a female pedestrian who was crossing the roadway at a controlled pedestrian crossing," the press service told the Moscow City News agency.
It is noted that the woman died on the spot from her injuries. Traffic police inspectors and an investigative task force are currently working at the scene.
The day before, a GAZ car hit an elderly man on the road in the Shchelkovo urban district. As a result of the accident, a 65-year-old pedestrian was killed.
On the same day, a double accident with the deceased occurred on the 14th km of the outer side of the MKAD. 360.ru Gazelle ran over two cars that stopped after an accident, and its driver died on the spot from his injuries, Moscow 24 writes.
