Moscow exporters named priority international exhibitions in 2026

The capital's entrepreneurs have selected the most interesting international industry events in which they would like to participate next year. The voting took place on the website of the Made in Moscow program. This was reported in the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of Moscow.

Exporters could choose from 229 foreign exhibitions or offer their own options. The list included events for representatives of 11 industries, such as IT companies, creative businesses, manufacturers of equipment, electronics, food and building materials.

"The United Arab Emirates, China, India and Kazakhstan have become the most popular destinations for promotion. The interest of the brands was also aroused by the countries of Africa. Based on the results of the survey, a plan of business events for 2026 will be drawn up," said Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of Moscow.

The city will take over the lease of the site, the construction and design of the Made in Moscow collective stand, the organization of meetings with potential partners, the cost of translation services and other costs.

According to Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry, "the city provides a full range of support to the capital's export-oriented companies: from conducting analytical studies of promising sales markets to organizing participation in international business missions and exhibitions." "All this allows enterprises to enter new markets faster and conclude international contracts," Liksutov said, stressing that the capital is actively developing international cooperation on behalf of Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

The first delegation, with the support of the Moscow Export Center, is already preparing to visit the GulFood food exhibition in the UAE in January. Moscow brands will be represented there for the fourth time. Earlier, the capital's companies signed 36 export contracts for GulFood worth over 2 billion rubles.
