Kerch signs contract for repair of coastal fortifications

Major repairs of coastal defenses on the embankment will be carried out in Kerch. The authorities have begun to conclude a contract for the development of the project, said the mayor Oleg Katorgin.

We are talking about the section from the parking lot of the Genmol vessels to the Utinka recreation area, the SevastopolMedia news agency writes. Earlier, the facilities were transferred to the ownership of Crimea.

Construction and installation works are planned from 2026 to 2027. The total amount of allocated funds is 831 million rubles. The Ministry of Housing Policy and Gosstroynadzor of the Republic acts as the customer of all types of work directly.

Earlier it was reported that a storm drain system is being installed at the Central Market in Kerch. This will increase the comfort of staying at the shopping facility.
