VTB summed up the preliminary results of integration with Postbank

1 million Postbank customers joined VTB. These are the first results of the integration of the two banks, the VTB press service reported.

"Our integration is a synergy of modern financial solutions and the scale of VTB's infrastructure. Mail Bank customers do not have to reissue cards or accounts: the transition process (...) it takes a couple of minutes. After this transition, users have access to financial and non-financial services of the "latest model". At the same time, with the usual access to 20,000 post offices across the country," said Dmitry Breitenbicher, a member of the VTB Board.

Since the beginning of integration, Postbank's customers have issued several million VTB products and services. Savings accounts and deposits, debit cards and pension transfers were the most popular.

The integration process will be completed in May 2026. As a result of the merger, the availability of financial services for residents of Russia will increase — VTB will be additionally represented in more than 13 thousand localities.
