The Supreme Court of Russia has decided to overturn all decisions of lower courts in the case of the sale of singer Larisa Dolina's apartment. This was reported on December 16 by a correspondent of Izvestia.

The dispute has been referred for new consideration to the court of first instance, and the circumstances of the case will be investigated anew. This gives Lurie the opportunity to challenge previous judicial findings.

It is clarified that at the same time, the prosecutor's office opposed Dolina's forced eviction and the return of her apartment to Lurie. According to the prosecutor, the courts made a mistake by denying the apartment buyer monetary compensation.

In her lawsuit, Dolina noted that Lurie did not show reasonable care when concluding the deal, while she had no doubts about the singer's sanity. The buyer's lawyer also recalled that the artist teaches at a university, while according to the legislation of the Russian Federation, all teachers undergo psychiatric examinations annually.
