The defense did not appeal the verdict of the court to actress Aglaya Tarasova in the case of drug smuggling. Her lawyer Zhanat Beketov informed Izvestia about this on December 16.

He clarified that the verdict had entered into legal force.

Lawyer Konstantin Evteev said on November 26 that the three-year suspended sentence imposed on Tarasova could result in significant restrictions for her. According to him, the suspended sentence in itself does not prohibit either traveling abroad or going to entertainment venues, including bars. Nevertheless, a probationer is considered convicted during the probation period, therefore, formally falls under the scope of this rule in practice.

Tarasova was detained with drugs at Domodedovo airport on August 28. As a result of the search, an electronic cigarette with a narcotic substance was found in her suitcase. The investigation requested house arrest for the actress, she was charged under Part 1 of Article 229.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Drug smuggling"). Shortly after, the court ordered the actress to ban certain actions for two months as a preventive measure.

On November 26, the court found her guilty and sentenced her to three years probation and a fine of 200,000 rubles for Tarasova. The actress fully admitted her guilt. Tarasova apologized to her viewers, and she also donated 200 thousand rubles for the treatment of drug-addicted children.
