On December 16, Russian President Vladimir Putin sent congratulations on the opening of the branch of the Rossiya National Center in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug — Yugra, expressing confidence that it would become a sought-after site.

"I am confident that the branch of the Rossiya National Center will become a sought-after platform for organizing business, creative meetings, and friendly communication between residents and guests of the Khanty—Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug," the head of state said in a telegram on the Kremlin's website.
