Vacancies without specifying the income level are losing interest from applicants, especially young people. This is the conclusion reached by analysts. hh.ru based on the analysis of thousands of vacancies and resumes, as well as more than 2.1 million employee reviews for 2024-2025.

According to the study, in 2025, 88% of candidates respond mainly to vacancies with a specified salary, which is 7% more than in ads where the income level is not disclosed. Zoomers are particularly sensitive to this: more than half of young applicants ignore offers without specific numbers, considering them as a sign of the employer's opacity.

"We see a direct correlation: vacancies with open salaries consistently receive more responses. For employers, this means faster hiring and lower costs for closing positions, and for job seekers, less anxiety and more trust in the company," the analysts noted. hh.ru .

According to the platform, maximum transparency is typical for vacancies with a low entry threshold — couriers, waiters and sellers have salaries indicated in more than 90% of cases. At the same time, the level of openness remains noticeably lower in leadership positions and in the field of marketing, which negatively affects the number of responses.

Analysts note that the growth of transparency requirements is a steady trend: applicants increasingly want to understand the conditions immediately and not waste time negotiating with an uncertain outcome. According to them, openness in matters of remuneration is becoming one of the key factors of trust in the employer and the competitiveness of vacancies in the labor market.
