The winter road repair season has started in Krasnoyarsk. For the convenience of residents, all work is carried out at night, according to the press service of the city's road construction company.

So, on the night of Wednesday, December 16, the first section on Aviatorov Street was repaired. Cast asphalt is used to restore the road surface in winter.

The mixture is made from crushed stone, sand, mineral powder and bitumen, and then heated to a temperature of 190 to 220 degrees. Due to its fluidity, it fills pits well and does not require compaction, which significantly speeds up the process.

This method of sealing holes in the road surface is a temporary measure, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency. In the summer, full-fledged repairs will be carried out on these sites.

Earlier in December, it was reported that almost 9 thousand linear meters of metal barrier fences were installed on the roads of the Trans-Baikal Territory in 2025. The work will continue next year.
