The head of AVTOVAZ announced production plans for 2025

AvtoVAZ will produce almost 325,000 Lada cars by the end of 2025. Maxim Sokolov, the head of the automaker, said this in an interview with Rossiya 24 TV channel on December 16.

This is less than last year, he noted, as the company had to stabilize production taking into account real sales and demand for products.

"We, of course, see the target for 2025, we are even looking far beyond the band, and we can confidently say that the figure will be almost 325,000 cars," Sokolov stressed.

Sergey Tselikov, director of the Autostat analytical agency, said on December 3 that 50% of new cars sold on the Russian car market in 2025 were produced in 2024 and earlier.
