A criminal case on unsafe services was initiated after an emergency at a school in St. Petersburg on December 15. This was announced on December 16 by the Investigative Committee for the region.

"A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet security requirements")," follows from a publication in the Telegram channel.

It is specified that an employee of a security company has been detained on suspicion of a crime. Investigators are continuing to establish the circumstances of the incident.

A ninth-grader attacked a teacher on the morning of December 15 at a school on Belorusskaya Street. According to a source in Izvestia, a 15-year-old teenager came to a teacher to correct a math test. When the girl turned away, he stabbed her in the back. It was clarified that after that he attempted suicide, which was prevented by the police. The teacher and the teenager were hospitalized, and a criminal case was opened into the incident.
