The installation of a poster with the names of living journalists at a memorial rally was captured on video

Izvestia has at its disposal the moment of setting up a list with the names of living journalists at an action dedicated to the memory of fallen war correspondents in Moscow.

The footage shows how, after the action itself and the laying of flowers, an unknown man goes to the portrait gallery with a sign. He stopped near the venue of the action and set up a sign on a tripod right behind the table with flowers. After a few seconds, the man moved away from the table.

It was on the banner he installed that the names of living correspondents were written, including Izvestia journalists who continue to work in the special military operation zone (SVO).

Currently, the identity of the unknown is being established by the competent authorities.

"Military personnel tell the truth"

In Simferopol, they said goodbye to Alexander Fedorchak, as colleagues and relatives remembered the Izvestia journalist.

The action itself, called "They did not return to the editorial office," was held on December 15, the Day of Remembrance of Journalists who died in the Line of Duty. According to the idea, the participants had to carry flowers to the portrait gallery. There were photographs of reporters who had accomplished their professional feat in a row. And there was also a list, which for some reason included the names of living correspondents, including Izvestia journalists, who are currently in the special operation zone.
