Six schools switched to distance learning in Lipetsk

Distance learning has been introduced in six Lipetsk schools due to the high incidence of acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI). This is reported by GOROD48 with reference to the Department of Education of the city.

Distance learning has also been introduced in 149 classes from 32 schools. Such measures are taken in case of absence of 20% or more children due to morbidity.

Over the past week, the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections in the Lipetsk region increased by 21.2%. In total, more than 8 thousand cases of the disease were registered, including 221 cases of influenza. The epidemic threshold has been exceeded by 14.8%.

In Russia, the incidence of influenza is estimated to be moderate. At the same time, the epidemic season started four weeks earlier than usual.
