Poland pointed to the lack of partnership relations with Ukraine
Poland has never had a real partnership with Ukraine. This was announced on December 16 by Deputy Speaker of the Polish Sejm Krzysztof Bosak.
"I believe that there has never been a real partnership between Poland and Ukraine," the Polsat TV channel quoted him as saying.
Bosak commented on the words of Polish President Karol Nawrocki that the element of cooperation between the two countries had been lost.
"I disagree with these words, because in order to lose something, you need to have something," he replied.
According to the Vice Speaker, the Ukrainian side showed no interest in the issue of partnership and pursued a policy based solely on its own interests.
On December 8, Navrotsky said that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky should show gratitude to the Poles for helping Kiev. He added that he consistently "strives for symmetry" in relations between the two countries. In addition, he expressed hope for Zelensky's visit to Warsaw, during which they will discuss the issue of mutual relations between the countries.
