Flight restrictions lifted at Vnukovo Airport

Temporary restrictions on aircraft flights have been lifted at Vnukovo Airport. This was announced on December 16 by the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency Artem Korenyako.

"Vnukovo Airport. Restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft have been lifted," the message on his Telegram channel says.

Korenyako added that during the restrictions, one aircraft was redirected to an alternate airfield. According to him, the aircraft crews, air traffic controllers and airport services have taken all measures to ensure flight safety.

Restrictions on the admission and release of aircraft at Vnukovo were introduced earlier in the day. Korenyako noted that they are necessary to ensure flight safety.
