Vera Wil, the winner of the Perspektiva award, has developed innovative methods for creating new chemical bonds, which can lead to the creation of more effective plant protection products and new materials for microelectronics.

Also among the winners are researchers working on safety and waste—free nuclear energy. These developments can change the future of the nuclear industry, making it more environmentally friendly.

The Challenge Award attracts more and more applications every year: this year the number of participants has tripled, and the number of participating countries has reached 40. The prize fund is 60 million rubles, 12 million for each winner.
