Former SBU officer arrested in Kerch for calls to terrorism
A former employee of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) was arrested in Kerch for calling for drones to attack Red Square during the Victory Day Parade. This was reported on December 16 by the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
It has been established that a former employee of the SBU, born in 1962, who works in one of the marine transport enterprises, published publicly available comments on his Telegram channel in which he called for attacks on Red Square using UAVs during the Victory Day Parade dedicated to the anniversary of the end of the Great Patriotic War.
"A preventive measure has been chosen in the form of detention in relation to the person involved," the report says, quoted by TASS.
Earlier, on November 21, a resident of the Kamchatka Territory was sentenced to 18 years in prison for participating in the activities of a terrorist organization and preparing terrorist attacks against military personnel. It was clarified that the man joined a Ukrainian organization that is recognized as terrorist and banned in Russia, established contact with the curator in the Telegram messenger and completed the task of creating a propaganda video.
