A list with the names of living journalists was put up at a memorial rally in Moscow

Impeccable accuracy and reliability of facts are important for the profession of a journalist. On December 15, the memory of the fallen military officers was honored in the center of Moscow.

The action was organized by activists of the Young Guard of United Russia and the Volunteer Company.

According to the idea, the participants had to carry flowers to the portrait gallery. There were photographs of reporters who had accomplished their professional feat in a row. And there was also a list, which for some reason included the names of living correspondents, including Izvestia journalists, who are currently in the special operation zone.

The organizers are trying to figure out what could have caused such an error.

"Military personnel tell the truth"

In Simferopol, they said goodbye to Alexander Fedorchak, as colleagues and relatives remembered the Izvestia journalist.

The "They didn't return to the editorial office" campaign took place on December 15. As Izvestia correspondent Valentin Trushnin pointed out, last year alone, more than 100 reporters around the world gave their lives for the pursuit of truth, and these losses are impossible to accept.
