The Zapad group of troops blocked three small groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kupyansk

Fighters of the Western Group of Forces have blocked and are liquidating three small groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Yubileyny area in Kupyansk. This was announced on December 15 by the head of the group's press center, Leonid Sharov.

"Currently, on the evening of December 15, three small groups of Ukrainian Armed Forces from two to six servicemen are blocked on the outskirts of the Yubileyny district," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

The Russian Armed Forces are grinding Kiev's defenses in key areas that open the way to Slavyansk and Kramatorsk, experts say.

On December 15, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that units of the unmanned systems forces as part of a separate engineering brigade of the Zapad group of forces were conducting remote mining of approaches to the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of Kupyansk-Uzlovoy settlement.
