The commander of the reconnaissance company of the 72nd Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Sharaevsky, who took part in the elimination of anti-Maidan rallies and protests in Mariupol, was eliminated. This was announced on the evening of December 15 by a representative of the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"Sharaevsky Alexander Mikhailovich (born in 1978) was destroyed. <...> He was part of a column of infantry fighting vehicles (infantry fighting vehicles. — Ed.), which drove straight into the protesters' barricades," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
