Sergunina summed up the results of the Moscow Week of Creative Industries
More than 300 business meetings were held as part of the second Moscow International Week of Creative Industries, which took place from December 8 to 12. This was told by Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.
According to her, industry experts exchanged experiences, discussed opportunities for cooperation and got acquainted with the urban infrastructure for creative business.
"The program brought together representatives of the creative industries from Russia and 12 other countries, including China, Turkey, India, Serbia, Brazil and Saudi Arabia. Following the results of the event, Moscow companies signed contracts worth over 160 million rubles," Sergunina said.
The documents provide for the promotion of domestic animation films and video games on the international market, as well as the creation of a platform for testing and localization of foreign games and services in Russia.
In addition, within the framework of the event, the capital and foreign organizations signed 10 partnership agreements. Five of them are aimed at developing joint projects in the video game field. Five more affect other areas of culture.
For example, the Moscow and Beijing Planetariums plan to work together on educational films, hold scientific events, exhibitions, and organize training tours to improve the skills of specialists. At the same time, the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve agreed with Brazilian colleagues on mutual expert consultations, the exchange of knowledge on the history of design and artistic crafts, as well as on the joint preparation of research and exhibition projects.
