A practical training center for mechanical engineering has been opened in the Technopolis Moscow special economic Zone. Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Russian government, and Sergei Sobyanin, Mayor of the capital, got acquainted with his work.

According to the post of the mayor in the MACH messenger, more than 1.5 thousand qualified specialists per year will be trained at the site located in Pechatniki with three laboratories and five workshops. We are talking about turners, milling workers, grinders, and operators of CNC machines. Sobyanin stressed that in Moscow these are sought-after professions with good pay.

This academic year, students from six city colleges will take part in the program at the center. They will receive relevant skills and will be trained on real production equipment. The classes will be taught by master practitioners.

The mayor said that the new center "sets the Moscow standard for professional education of the 21st century."

There are now four practical training sites in Moscow. One of them is located in the Rudnevo Industrial Park, the others are in Pechatniki and Altufyevsky district. Not only students can study here, but also specialists who want to change their profession.
