Nine regions of the Russian Federation will be included in the experiment on passing only two subjects on the OGE

The experiment with simplified passing of the OGE for college applicants will spread to nine more regions. This was announced by the Russian Government in its official Telegram channel.

"The government has decided to extend the experiment to expand the availability of vocational education (secondary vocational education), which provides for 9th grade graduates who have decided to enroll in vocational education, the right to take only two compulsory subjects for passing the OGE and obtaining a certificate of basic general education. 9 more regions will be connected to it," the message says.

Sergey Kravtsov, Minister of Education, noted that enrollment in vocational education institutions in the country as a whole has increased by 37%. Future specialists are trained according to a modular system, in which the practical part takes up to 80% of the learning process.

Earlier, the Russian Government submitted a bill in which it proposed to introduce Tatarstan, Moscow, Rostov, Tver and Tyumen regions into the experiment.

In August, it became known that changes in the structure and content of control measuring materials (CMM) There will be no OGE and USE, as well as the GVE (state final exam), which will be held in 2026. It was clarified that the content of KIM was carried out in accordance with the school curriculum. The third point of the specification for each question line also specifies the provisions of the school curriculum and the classes in which the assignment material is studied.
