Putin signed laws to exempt a number of citizens from compulsory labor
Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved a package of laws providing for additional restrictions on the appointment of compulsory work for certain categories of citizens. The relevant document was published on the official Internet portal of legal information on December 15.
According to the law, compulsory work can no longer be assigned to women raising children with disabilities, as well as men who are single fathers of children under three years of age or children with disabilities. A similar measure also applies to citizens who are the sole adoptive parents, guardians or guardians of such children.
