A Russian streamer known by the nickname i_olga or Grandma Olga, at the age of 77, received the NYMN's New Year Show (NNYS) esports award in the "Best Gaming Moment of the Year" nomination for Counter-Strike 2. This was announced on December 14 by the press service of the award on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

After winning the round, the streamer announced that she had won thanks to a new computer mouse.
Senator Artem Sheikin said on November 27 that the most important thing in esports is trust in the results of competitions, so the introduction of fines and administrative liability for the use of cheats is a natural step. He stressed that fines alone are not enough, and administrative measures should become part of a whole system that will include uniform and clear rules for fixing violations, conducting inspections, protecting players' rights and the possibility of filing appeals.
