T-Bank has launched a virtual assistant through which children from all regions of Russia will be able to contact Santa Claus by phone and tell him about their New Year's wishes. This was reported in the press service of the bank.

The project, which is being implemented for the second year in a row, is based on T-Pro's own large language model, which was developed at the T-Bank AI center and is used in the ecosystem of the T-Technologies group.

This year, the telephone Santa Claus of T-Bank began to understand the words of the child better, even with the noise around, to react and respond faster. Now he, like a live interlocutor, can be interrupted. This is helped by the improved T-Pro model and the next-generation v2v engine developed by the T-Bank AI center team in 2025. After the child's conversation with Santa Claus, the summation of the call in the application chat is sent to adult T-Bank customers.

As noted in T-Bank, the voice of Santa Claus was created using its own speech recognition and synthesis technology, the Voice Kit. Using ML models, engineers at the T-Bank AI Center analyzed thousands of lines from movies, cartoons, and TV series, as well as the speech patterns of Soviet and Russian Santa Claus - accents, word stretches, and intonation in different types of conversations.

Last year, Santa Claus's number was called more than 70 thousand times. On average, there were from 2 to 3 calls to the number, a record was recorded from a subscriber from whose number Santa Claus was called 126 times.
