Bild pointed to Kiev's readiness to hold elections and refuse to join NATO.

Ukraine is ready, as part of negotiations in Berlin, to agree to hold elections within 100 days and refuse to join NATO under certain conditions, the Bild newspaper reported on December 15, citing sources.

"Ukraine would be ready to accept both points [of the US plan to hold elections and renounce NATO membership] under certain circumstances," the sources said.

According to the newspaper, Kiev is also ready to consider "freezing" the current line of contact, but refuses to withdraw its troops from the entire territory of Donbass.
