Ex-deputy mayor of Krasnodar Netrebu was sentenced to four years for fraud

Vsevolod Netreba, the former deputy head of the Krasnodar municipality, was sentenced to four years in prison in a fraud case. This was announced on December 15 by the press service of the courts of the Krasnodar Territory.

"The defendant, being the deputy head of the Krasnodar municipality, offered his friend for a monetary reward of 4.6 million rubles to ensure his election as a deputy of the Krasnodar City Duma of the VIII convocation," the Telegram channel said.

According to the court, Netreba had no real opportunity to influence the outcome of the election. The candidate for deputy appealed to law enforcement agencies, and further actions took place under the control of operatives.

It is specified that on April 28, 2025, in his office, Netreba received part of the amount — 2 million rubles, after which he was detained by FSB officers in the Krasnodar Territory. At the hearing, he admitted his guilt. The ex-official was found guilty of committing a crime under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Fraud").

In addition to imprisonment while serving his sentence in a general regime colony, the court imposed a fine of 1 million rubles on Netreba and deprived him of the right to hold positions in local government for three years.

They are suspected of taking bribes and imposing unjust sentences.

On December 13, the military investigative department of the Investigative Committee for the Balashikha garrison opened a criminal case on the embezzlement of 39.6 million rubles allocated by the state defense order for the construction of the infrastructure of the Rosgvardiya military camp. Sergey Arkhipov, CEO of Vitu Project LLC, and Alexander Zakharikov, his deputy, signed a contract with Rosgvardiya, which was increased from 374 million to 426 million rubles. The company received an advance of 211 million rubles, however, as it was established, the company's management, together with unidentified officials of the customer, stole funds, deceiving the Rosgvardiya about their intention to complete the work.
