On Monday, December 15, a press conference of the All-Russian Society of Rare (Orphan) Diseases (AOI) is being held at the Izvestia International Medical Center on the topic: "Problems and prospects of medical care for adult patients with orphan diseases in Russia".
They talk about the provision of medicines for adult patients with rare diseases and the further development of the medical care system.:
— Natalia Smirnova, lawyer of the first category, member of the Expert Council on Rare Diseases at the Committee on Health Protection under the State Duma of the Russian Federation, lawyer at BOAZ;
— Irina Myasnikova, Chairman of the Board of the All-Russian Orphan Diseases Society, Member of the Board of Trustees of the Circle of Goodness Foundation;
— Sergey Klyushnikov, PhD, Leading researcher at the 5th Neurological Department of the Federal State Budgetary Budgetary Institution "Scientific Center of Neurology".
The moderator was Ekaterina Zakharova, MD, Head of the Laboratory of Hereditary Metabolic Diseases of the Bochkov Moscow State Medical University, Chairman of the Expert Council of the All—Russian Society of Rare (Orphan) Diseases.
