Alexey Melnikov, a gastroblogger and creator of the Afisha Yekaterinburg community, died in Yekaterinburg at the age of 34. This was announced on December 15 by his wife Marina.

"A grief happened today. My beloved husband, father and son have passed away," she wrote on Instagram (owned by Meta, a company whose activities are recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).

The cause of death of the man is not specified.

Melnikov ran a personal blog, "Melnikov in the City," in which he talked about establishments in the city.
