The expert explained that parents can still vaccinate their children against rotovirus infection by their own decision, starting at the age of six weeks. Additional vaccines include meningococcal infection, chickenpox, and viral hepatitis A.
In an interview with the publication, the doctor noted that in 2026, updated drugs will be used for some vaccinations.
"If earlier we vaccinated against rotovirus infection with Rotatec, now it is Rota-V-Aid," the doctor said. She also clarified that instead of the Menactra vaccine, MenQuadfi will be used, which can be used to vaccinate children from the age of six weeks according to various schemes.
