In the Sakhalin region, in the Nogliki district, a large fire destroyed four apartments. This was announced on December 15 by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the region.

"Four apartments burned down, and they tried to save another one with the help of equipment and special vehicles of the Ministry of Emergency Situations," the ministry said.

The fire alarm was received around 1:30 a.m. local time (5:30 p.m. Moscow time). The calculations of the local fire department and the GazProm division were working at the site.

There is no information about the victims, rescuers continue to assess the consequences of the fire and are taking measures to prevent further spread of the fire.

Earlier, on December 14, it was reported that a man died as a result of a fire in a private house in Ussuriysk, his identity is being established. It was clarified that the body was discovered during extinguishing on the ground floor.
