Levon Oganezov's farewell will take place on December 16 in New York.

The farewell to the People's Artist of the Russian Federation, famous musician and composer Levon Oganezov is scheduled for December 16 in New York, his funeral will be held in the United States, relatives of the deceased reported on his Facebook page (recognized as extremist and banned in Russia).

Levon Oganezov died on December 13 at the age of 84.

"The memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 11:00 local time (18:00 Moscow time) at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home at: 2 Maple Avenue, White Plains, New York, 10601. The funeral and burial will take place at Kensico Cemetery, 273 Lakeview Avenue, Valhalla, New York, 10595," the publication says.

Earlier in the day, Oganezov's family noted that for many fans he would forever remain a virtuoso musician with sparkling humor, and for them he was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and best friend.
