Kadyrov said he was tired of power
The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, said that he was "fed up" with the government, but was ready to participate in the elections in 2026. He told about it on December 14 during a live line on the TV channel CHGTRK Grozny.
"If you ask me, I'm fed up with this power and service to the people. I think that new forces, new people would be more interesting, and the situation would improve if there were other people," he said.
At the same time, the politician expressed his readiness to participate in the elections in 2026 if the corresponding proposal is made by Russian President Vladimir Putin and the initiative is supported by the people. Kadyrov added that he remains faithful to serving the people and will not deviate from this path until the end of his life.
On October 8, Kadyrov announced the awarding of his daughter Khadizhat with a certificate of honor from President Putin. The head of Chechnya noted that Khadizhat actively represents the republic on federal and international platforms, participating in various forums and summits.
In February last year, Putin awarded Kadyrov the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree. The President noted his great contribution to the strengthening of Russian statehood, the country's defense capability and the socio-economic development of Chechnya.
